Discover the diverse flavours of West African cuisine and prepare a typical Ghanaian menu together.
For starters, savoury meat pies with a flavorful meat or vegetable filling, served with Kunu Aya (tigernut drink). The main course features Fufu (a soft dough made from cassava and plantains) accompanied by an aromatic, spicy light soup (tomato and chicken soup).
This is complemented by classic side dishes such as Waakye (a rice and bean dish), served with spicy shito sauce, marinated and fried fish, plantains, and Kelewele (spiced, fried plantains). For dessert, sweet specialities like Dambu da Nono (creamy millet semolina with fermented milk) complete the meal.
